Deepen your mindfulness and awareness practices through seated meditation that draws from insight meditation, brahma vihara practice, and somatic awareness practices.

The Embodied Heart Retreat will happen at a beautiful off grid permaculture project and retreat center called La Cuna in the high mountains of Oaxaca, three hours from both Oaxaca City and the Coast.
Located in the small town of San Mateo Río Hondo, La Cuna offers mountain views, pine forest, moderate climate, and a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the world.
Cuna offers a range of accommodations, including private spaces and dorm beds. For this retreat, it is first come, first served, so be sure to register first to get your preferred housing.
The retreat includes accommodations and three vegetarian meals per day.

Getting to La Cuna
fROM oAXACATake a lineas unidas bus from Oaxaca City to San Jose Del Pacifico, about a 3.5 hour drive.
From San Jose Del Pacifico, take a taxi to La Cuna in San Mateo.
Alternatively, you can take a private taxi from Oaxaca to La Cuna (30 minutes).
From the coast (Mazunte zipolite)There is a Lineas Unidas bus from Zipolite directly to San Jose Del Pacifico twice a day, or buses that run on the hour from Pochutla. The ride is about 3 hours.
