Somatic Therapy

Sometimes life feels heavy, overwhelming, or confusing. You might be carrying big feelings, moving through grief, feeling anxious or disconnected from yourself, or sensing you’re at the edge of a change but unsure how to step through.

My somatic therapy sessions offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore what’s here — not just in your mind, but in the wisdom of your body.

Through a somatic and mindfulness-centered approach, we slow down, listen deeply, and follow the subtle threads of sensation, image, and emotion.

This is a space for your system to breathe, for your truth to emerge in its own timing, and for new possibilities to take root.

Together, we create the conditions for clarity, healing, and movement where things have felt stuck.

Depending on your needs and goals, these sessions weave together somatic therapy, embodied parts work, mindfulness, emotional freedom technique/tapping, biodynamic craniosacral therapy and somatic bodywork.

Sessions are typically 75 minutes, and longer sessions are available as well.

My practice will be mainly be virtual (phone or video sessions) through June 2026.

Please check out my 3 month online somatic therapy coaching container, The Embodied Path, or contact me to schedule a virtual somatic therapy session.

  • Parts Work is a therapeutic framework that honors the multidimensionality of being human. Getting to know, and working with, the different parts of ourselves can be incredibly potent for healing and self understanding. Embodied Parts Work utilizes body awareness, breath, movement, and play as a to explore and understand parts.

  • Somatics refers to the body and that which is of the body.  Somatics helps us to understand how emotions, thoughts, and experiences are held and expressed through the body - the body is the landscape through which we experience Life. I believe healing, liberation, empowerment, and change are made possible when we are in connection to our bodies. My frameworks for somatics include body awareness; movement practices such as somatic movement, yoga, and authentic movement; and tools and techniques for processing emotional energy through the body.

  • Drawing from Jung, depth psychology, and Indigenous ways of Knowing, imaginal practice  is a powerful way to connect with the subconscious through image, imagination, color, shapes, and sounds. It is akin to dreaming while awake and can have a potent and alchemical affect on the psyche.

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (aka EFT or Tapping) is a form of energy psychology that helps to transform and release challenging emotional energy and repattern harmful belief systems.

  • Drawing from elements old buddhism, buddhist psychology, and radical acceptance, mindfulness and meditation practices help us to meet the moment with more presence and equanimity. With mindfulness, we learn skillful ways to meet the moment without reacting in ways that causes us further suffering.

  • Gentle, non-invasive touch that invites the body into a state of innate wholeness. Touch may include stillness, slight pressure, and gentle rocking to assist the body in processing and integrating emotional energy.
